PIHU'S POV



I was ready in like 45 minutes to leave with him. I purposely got ready 15 minutes prior as Mr. Karthik is fond of waiting, so I decided that this time I will get ready and wait for him outside.

Right now I am wearing my heels that he gifted me. Well yes he got like everything the dress, matching heels, a diamond necklace along with my favourite perfume from Dior.

After I was done wearing my heels I headed towards the exit and after locking the door of my apartment I

headed towards the main gate. As I reached the gate I saw a black Mercedes Benz right in front of my gate. I knew it is his, but where is he? I asked myself moving towards the car.

He is here before me again, how long does he waits for me? Sighing I knocked the window as the car's door was locked. I didn't get any response so I stepped back thinking maybe its someone else.

I was lost in my thoughts when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned to

see and it was him.

"Where were you? And how long were you waiting for?" I asked him.

"I was here only I just wanted to scare you." He said pinching my nose softly.

"Oh my god Karthik I am scared, save me please." I mocked him with an overdramatic scared expression.

"That was not funny" he said.

"Even your flop plan to scare me was not funny" I said moreover roasted him.

Yes we share a very chaotic bond afterall we are bestfriends. After being roasted he made a pissed off

face and I gave him a toothy smile and then he smiled a little. Yes he genuinely smiled.

He looked so damm handsome with that dimple smile. He eyes shinned like never before and I was really happy to see him smiling that too because of my little act. I was still lost in my thoughts when a thud closing sound of door brought me back to reality.

He opened the backseat door to take out the bouquet he brought for me from his car and gave it to me.



THE BOUQUET

"Here!" he said giving me my favourite orchids bouquet.

"Thanks!" I said smiling smelling the fragrance of the fresh orchids flower bouquet. All this while I could feel his gaze on me.

"Smells nice!" I said looking at the flowers.

"Not more than you" he said shoving his hands in his pocket.

I was taken aback by his sentence this guy knows how to give me butterflies. We stared at each other as if we are trying to read the untold story of our souls. There was an awkward silence and now it was making me a blushing mess so I cleared my throat.

"What do you mean?" I asked him. and I don't know what stupid did I just spilled I mean I should have ended that topic but I don't know where my baddy side goes when it comes to him.

"I mean that..." he said and took slow steps towards me which caused my body to ultimately move backwards.

In a step of three or maybe four my back touched the car. The cold metal of the car touched my soft warm skin sending shiver down my spine. In shift of a moments I was caged between him and the car.

His both hands were on either side of my shoulders and he attached his forehead with mine he was really close to me. So close that even if any one of us did even a slight moment so our lips would touch. It was even difficult to breathe. I held his coats fabric in my fist tightly due to our proximity.

I myself was shocked that his touch was not making me uncomfortable not even a bit. It was like a sweet torture that I wanted more and more. Everything that happened in the past I never let any man get close to me even if its not a bad intention, but Karthik's touch to me was always different. Seeing me a little restless he moved his face

towards my ear.

"I mean that, you are looking breathtaking hot and everything your voice, your smell, your touch

everything is a billion times better than anything called best on this earth." He whispered in my ears and then backed off.

But his words were doing too much to me, so much that I wanted it more. Heat was rushing my cheeks all this while I am sure I look like a tomato by now. I touched my cheeks with my hands and fuck they were so hot that I could imagine how red I would be by now. I close my eyes tight out of embarrassment.

"Though you look stunning without makeup but I like adding natural blush to your cheeks, and I promise if we marry you don't need to buy blush I am more than enough to provide this service to my soon to be wife, if she agrees to marry me." He said bending down to my face level.

And that's it now I know I am more than a tomato. Man why do you have to be this hot. But now to change this tempting hot environment even in the winters I spoke.

"Let's leave now we will get late" I said looking everywhere but not him.

"Behind you!" he said opening the passenger seat's gate for me.

I silently sat in the car and he also did the same. On our way I felt like opening the window as I like it. So I looked in his direction he was talking to someone with his bluetooth earbuds connected in his one ear.

Seeing him busy I turned again to just enjoy the view but then the window slid down and I instantly looked at him. He smiled looking at me how can he know so much about me I thought. And as he was still on his call so I just smiled back at him and then turned again to enjoy the night view with cold breeze.

KARTHIK'S POV



I reached her house and was waiting of her in front of her gate. I checked the time I was half an hour early and I sighed thinking that once I hated to wait for anyone and this girl who is like a kid in front of me is getting me on my knees for her.

But anyway I was loving her impact on me afterall she is my lady luck.

I got down the car and stood by the support my car's bonnet I was waiting for her when I felt slight

movements behind the garden's bushes that is beside Pihu's room. I went straight in that direction and it was again a man trying to sneak in her room.

Seeing me rushing all my guards that I appointed for her security also joined me. I caught that man's collar and punched him twice. But then tic-tac sound of heels reached my ears. I saw in that direction and it was my Gulaab, my love, my

everything.

She was looking so daam beautiful in that dark green velvet dress that was reveling her toned thighs. And each and every curve of her body was visible. I couldn't help but stand still. My heart raced faster and faster and I couldn't help but feel captivated by her presence.



KARTHIK'S LOOK

Every detail from her the way her hair was tied in a messy bun, her smile that enough to light up my mood seemed to be etched into my memory. Its was like the whole world is still and its just me and her and our moment.

And thats when I realized how lucky I am to have a beauty like her around me by my side. I was

brought back to reality by my guard's words.

"Sir mam is there near your car, you can go we will take care of him." he said not before bowing to me.

"No one will even touch him, just keep him alive in the basement I will be there once I am free" I said to him handing that man to him.

"On yours words sir!" he said and all the guards bowed together and I took my leave.

When I came from there I saw her knocking my car's window and then not getting and response she backed off. I went near her and tapped her shoulder. We talked for a while or should I say we had a mini make out session without touching each other intimately.

Yes it was a make out and butterflies session with words that

had a tomato and beetroot mixed red impact on her check. We left from her place and on our way I saw her looking at me while I was on car. I understood what she wanted so I slid the window of her side as she is fond of open window seat since her childhood.

I smiled looking at her to which she responded smiling back while I was still on call. I wanted to spend time with her rather than talking on phone but this call was important as I didn't go to office today as well.

The rest of the drive was silent.

We reached the location and I looked at her and she was sleeping. Well the beachside was far from her place so its not her mistake. I smiled looking and her. I removed my seatbelt and bent a little towards her and slightly tapped her cheeks.

"Princess wea are here" I said.

"Just five more minutes Karthik please" she said grinning in her sleep.

"Umm you can sleep once we will return back I wont disturb you then" I said.

"Ahh! Please Karthik" she again grinned. She was looking cute behaving like a child. But right now she needs to wake up and I feel sorry for that but still.

"Pihu see there is a crocodile jumping" I said a little loudly.

"Where? Where is a Crocodile jumping?" she said jumping and sitting straight at her seat.

"You are too cute to be a CEO like seriously Pihu, where did you read that crocodiles jumps?" I said a

laughed like hell.

"Dare you laugh once more" she said in a warning tone after staring at me for a while.

"Okay fine sorry, but now you need to wake up, we are here" I said being a little serious as I tried to control my laugh.

"Kaha aaye hai hum Karthik?" she asked removing her seatbelt.

"Somewhere special" I said and got down the car moving to her side to open her door.

I opened the door for her and passed her my hand so that she can get down the car comfortably as her dress was a little revealing. I looked on the either side so that she is comfortable.

"Hmm done" she said once she was done positioning her dress.

"Hmm so now let me close your eyes as it is a little surprise for you" I said and turned her so that I can

close her eyes.

"Weren't we supposed to only have dinner?" she said when I closed her eyes.

"We will later on" I said and slowly we stared moving on the beach's sand though there was a red carpet but still the sand could be felt under our toes.

"Karthik are we on any beach by any chance?" she asked.

"Hmm" I hummed.

"Karthik mai gir jaunge heels pehen rakhe hai maine" she said standing still at her place. Well honestly it

would be difficult to walk with heels.

I picked her up in bridal style before she could even react or look around.

"Utha lunga aise hi paar kabhi girne nahi dunga" I said looking straight in her eyes.

Our gazing session was in process and I walked slowly and soon we reached. I wanted to appreciate myself for not letting her get distracted or else she would have seen the surprise. I slowly put her down still looking into her eyes.

"Now you can turn your gaze towards your left I know I am handsome" I said holding her hands.

She looked in that direction and smiled.

"Its beautiful Karthik" she said her mouth still hung open.

"Not more than you" I said looking at her.

We stared into each others eyes until her tummy growled, and I chuckled looking at her.

"Let's fill this little tummy of yours" I said smiling.

"Man! it never growls how come?" she said out of shock looking at her tummy.

"Because its hungry" I said and holding her hands I moved towards the dinner setup.

Well there were two setups one this and the other one where I will propose her which is at walking distance from here. But before expressing my feelings I wanted

her to have food as she would compromise with food if its not a yes from her side.



THE DINNER SETUP

I pulled her cushion and made her sit. Whereas I sat beside her at a little distance . I ordered the food as we had waiters there. She ordered sandwich and ice cream for herself whereas I said that sandwich will do to me as well.

We had our food talking, chatting, laughing and it felt like we need each other to stay normal. After having our food we decided to walk a little.

Well I suggested to walk as it was a part of my plan. So right now we are walking on the beach side holding hands which she didn't protest to and intertwined her fingers with mine that gave me immense happiness.

She took many pictures to record the moment. Well she is again being her old self atleast with me and I am happy for that. While walking she was tripping on her toes but wasn't saying anything.

"Does it hurt?" I asked her.

"Yeah a little" she said smiling but discomfort was clear in her steps. I bent down to remove her heels.

"What are doing Karthik?" she asked taking a step back.

"Stay still" I said and removed her heels and took it in my hands.

"Give it to me I will hold it" she said trying to take the heels from my hand.

"Its okay let me hold it for you" I said smiling she gave me a what look and I gave her a please look and then she smiled and let me hold it.



We were walking for a while and then she said.

"Karthik see there is a date setup someone planned" she said smiling and pointing in that direction with her fingers.

"Hmm" I said.

"What hmm you know I also had a fantasy..." she was saying something but interrupted.

"You wanna see it?" I asked but I already knew the answer.

"Yeah!" she said nodding her head excitedly.

"Let's go then" I said and started walking but she stopped me.

"What's wrong?" I asked her politely.

"Someone would have planned it we should not spoil it" she said.

"Its okay lets go we will see and then come back" I said as I was having no other excuse in my head.

"Are you sure?" she asked making a cute face.

"Yeah I am" I said smiling.

We started walking towards the setup as soon as the carpet began I left her hand letting her walk alone towards the setup. As soon as she stepped on the carpet all the lights were turned on and her entry was welcomed.

She stood at her place and turned back to look at me and I nodded at her smiling. She looked at me with pure shock but she was happy and that could be clearly seen in her eyes.

I walked further near her held her hand and took her at the other end of the carpet where the main proposal was supposed to be done. We stood there facing each other.

And then that was the moment I took out the ring box from my pocket and sat in front of her on my knees.

She was still at her place and was trying to process everything and then I started to speak sitting on my knees.

And I think I did it quite well for the very first time in my life. Man I am shivering now. I could see tears brimming down in her eyes and she was on a verge of crying but then again I spoke.

"So Miss. Pihu, will you give me a chance to make you Mrs. Pihu Singh Rajput?" I said and that was it she sat on her knees in front of me and hugged me and burst into her cries.

I cherished her back for a moment and then after a long period of time when her cries stopped making my blazer all wet which I didn't care at all I tried to lighten up her mood.

"Was I that bad that I scared you to cry" I said.

"Shut up" she said slowly slapping my chest.

"Is it a Yes then?" I asked with excitement.

"Do you really have feelings for me or you are doing it for our family?" she asked parting away from me.

Now I was getting a little scared, scared of loosing her.

"I do have feelings for you Pihu, I am doing it for us, for me and you because we are happy with each other not because our family is" I said trying to explain her.

"Who said I am happy with you, I remember I never said" she said.

And I was already feeling broken. I was hurted now, is she planning to say no man I was still in my thoughts when she started laughing.

"Are you serious just look at your face" she said pointing a finger towards my face and continuously

laughing. Is she even taking it serious? I stood up and pulled her in my arms and attached our

foreheads, her laughter was long gone and then I spoke.

"Its no joke Pihu, I love you I am so fucking in love with you that I can kill myself if I ever dare to hurt you and you are laughing here when my heart is on a verge of popping out" I said in a breathtaking tone.

"Kar..." she was saying something but I interrupted.

"Say yes please" I said closing my eyes and trying to console my heart
