PIHU'S POV



Yes I asked him, and you may be thinking how straight forward I was but the fact is that only I know what

tornado was erupting in my head. First I thought I will try to give him hints that I want to talk about this topic marriage and then he will be straight forward as it happens in movies. But then again I thought that I am the one who makes faces at such irritating scenes they call funny, romantic or whatever it is. And here I am, I indirectly asked a boy no hulk, chimpanzee to marry

me.

"WHAT?" he asked chocking on his food. I passed him a glass full of water and tried to act like it's a very normal topic.

"What do you mean by WHAT?"I said in the same tone he said in.

"I mean, just repeat yourself please" he said maybe trying to digest my words.

"Mr. Karthik I didn't know that you are a deaf Chimpanzee" I said more like mocked him.

"Jeez pity of me that I thought you have changed yourself" he said making an annoyed face.

"Will you answer me in your next birth?" I asked with a sarcastic huge smile on my face.

"Pihu let's be serious, I don't have any problem with it I am ready to get married even if you say tomorrow, so get this thing in your head its because both the families

are very happy so I definitely don't have any problem but you better dare not to force yourself, just don't even think of doing that. If you will be my Wife so you will be with all you love and happiness not because everyone else is happy and I know its all very difficult for you to adjust but I will wait... I will wait for the

longest time you ask me to wait." He said it all in one breathe. But his one statement is running in my head.

"Are you saying yes only because everyone is happy" I asked him.

"What made you think that?" he asked me.

"You said because everyone is happy so you don't have any problem" I said bending my head looking at the bowl of my sprouts.

"Are you serious?" he said laughing as if I told him some joke.

He was laughing continuously and I was looking at him as if I will kill him anytime. I mean here I am being all serious and emotional and he is laughing. I took a fork from the spoon holder on the table and jabbed it straight in the yolk of his omlet. Seeing it he stopped laughing and sat straight.

"Don't think too much just silently have your food and yes about the marriage topic it's a yes from my side because I want a yes, if you know you know" he said and started eating.

"What do you mean? Care to explain?" I asked as his lines were very confusing.

"Pihu I am not willing to talk about it as I want to give you some time to think, so think over it okay?" he said and again focused on his plate.

Seeing him uninterested I also started eating. We finished our breakfast and then he went in the sitting area to talk to some client who called him and I did all the dishes. As I finished doing the dishes I went to take shower not before checking on him as he was still talking.

I took a long relaxing shower and all this while I was just thinking about our marriage. I don't have any problem marrying him but before that I need to tell him my past the past I hate the most and the past that he will also hate me if he comes to know about it. And the thought of him hating me was making him hate myself.

Earlier I thought it was mere attraction but no I know I have feelings for him but not sure about how he feels for me, the way he treats me, the way he respects my comfort and moreover the way he express his feelings towards me. I know he likes me or maybe not but still his actions say that atleast he cares for me.

Battling with my thoughts I was done taking shower I wore a loose oversized t-shirt with shorts that reached my mid thighs. I dried my hairs and tied them into a messy bun and came downstairs. I saw him sitting on the couch so I went towards him and sat on the couch

right in front of the one he was sitting on.

KARTHIK'S POV



After having the breakfast I got a call from my hacker. I asked him to hack the CCTV fotage of the camera outside Pihu's balcony and the main entrance. I gave him a brief about that mans body structure and asked him to check if any such man has visited the place other than yesterday.

He informed me that the man came there the very next day when Pihu returned from UP. But he went back when he saw her going out with me. Which means he was here two days back and then he came here yesterday again. Now only one thing was running in my head to find him and rip him apart.

I talked to him about that man's information which we were not able to track unfortunately but they are still trying. I told him to fasten the process and returned back in the hall and she wasn't there a sudden fear erupted in my heart I felt restless.

But then sound of water dripping was heard which was coming from her room as the house was silent so the voice could be clearly heard. That means she was taking shower.

I sighed and sat on the couch and called Karan. I asked him to prepare a beachside date setup of marriage proposal. Yes I will propose her tonight, propose her to officially marry me. I am being quick with it because I know if I won't confess she will think I am agreeing to marry her because of other's happiness which is clearly a lie.

I love her and I know somewhere she also has feelings for me which she will not confess this easily so

I am taking the lead here. Also the way that man is trying to reach her is stating it very clear that he is

following her and keeping an eye on her.

So now I want to take her responsibility and make her feel safe. I know that there is something about her past that she is not sharing and it is not very good so I am waiting for her to tell me. I can ask that to anyone but I won't, I want her to tell me. I was thinking about these things and I heard footsteps indicating that she is here.

As soon as she came in front of me was shocked to see her. She wore a black oversized tee just like the one she gave me and black shorts that barely covered her thighs. Is she planning to seduce me? I felt something getting hard in my pants none other than my little one. I quickly corrected my position so that she doesn't notice her effect on me.

She was looking hot, not very not no no no she was looking fucking hot that's all I could sense at the moment. She came and sat on the couch right in front of me.

"Aren't we visiting the construction site?" she asked be bringing me back on earth.

"We will leave by 1" I replied.

"Ohh okay" she said and typed something on her phone as she was doen typing I said.

"I want to ask you about something" we both said at the same time.

"You go first" I said.

"Never mind my topic is huge you go first" she said and I sighed knowing that there is no way I can argue with her any further.

"Are you free tonight?" I asked her.

"Yeah! Why?" she asked.

"Actually dad asked us to meet today I hope you know that so let's meet or else he will not leave me and think that I scared you" I said.

I hid the main reason because it's a surprise for her. I want to see her unexpected sort of reaction so I made an excuse to ask her out.

"Hmm we will go but I need to talk to uncle" she said making a suspicious face.

"You can but why so? By any chance do you think I am lying?" I said looking a her in disbelief.

"No! I just wanna ask uncle why does he think a Chimpanzee can scare me" she said teasing me.

I stood up and went towards her couch sat right in front of her very close to her but making sure she isn't uncomfortable.

"Wh... what ar.. are you do.. doing?" she asked shuttering.

"Scared of me Wildcat?" I asked with a smirk on my face.

"Wh... who is sc.. scared o.. of whom?" she said trying to be confident.

I bent a little towards towards a side of her shoulder and opened her hair. I like her in open hair I love her hair I am obsessed with her hair scent but I don't know why she always ties it. I wore her hairtie on my wrist and then shifted a little towards her ear.

"You are looking really hot!" I whispered in her ears and then backed off. And sat at a distance from her. She was still at her place. I must say her cheeks were beetroot red and she looked even more cute with that.

"Be ready within an hour I have some work I will pick you up after that we will go at the site together" I stood up and took my car keys that were kept on the T.V. stand and biding her bye I left.

I went to my apartment to get ready as it should look like professional meeting. I don't want people to say that she was my fiance so I agreed to the deal though I don't give a daam fuck to them but it affects her and everything she has problems with is my problem.

PIHU'S POV



After asking me to get ready he left and I got ready. Within an hour I texted him when I was ready and again he said that he is waiting downstairs. I don't know why does this man waits everytime and not informs me about his arrival.

I left with him to the site. We discussed the project with our construction team and finalized the map passed for my new brand opening. We left from there really late it was 6 in the evening. Right now he is driving me towards my place to get ready as we have to meet out today as our parents said.

"Be ready by 8 pm I will pick you up. Mom and Dad are landing in half an hour so let me go see them then I will pick you up." He said and I looked towards him. He was using his phone like texting someone with his one hand and driving with his other. I sighed at his carelessness. I took his phone from his hand.

"Focus on the road when you drive" I said and kept his phone on the dashboard of the car.

"And you don't have to pick me up, send me the location I will be there on time." I said.

"I said I will pick you means I will" he said and stopped the car.

I saw we reached my place. He got down the car and opened the gate for me. I got down and he opened his car's trunk. He took out a gift bag from it and handed it to me.

"Wear this tonight, I hope you will like it." He said shoving his hands in his pocket.

"It was not needed Karth..." I say saying something when he cut me off.

"It was needed I just wanted to gift you something as Iam still working on my apology as you didn't forgive me yet" he said and then I remembered that I was angry at him and I really forgot that.

But he still remembers that even when I was acting normal. Now tell me how should I not fall for this man he is literally giving me butterflies with his actions and a millions of reason to love him. I swear on god I can write a whole damm book describing him the best even if I know very little about him.

I am just wondering what will happen when I will know him all in and out. He then won't give me butterflies then he will give me

whole zoo everytime.

"Hey! Where are you lost?" he asked waving his one hand in front of my face bringing me back to reality.

"Thankyou Karthik" I said and hugged him.

He stood still for a moment but them reciprocated to the hug. We stood like that for quite long as he was not ready to leave. He was holding me as if his life depends

on it like a little baby he nuzzled his face in the crook of my neck. A small smile crept on my face seeing his cute antics.

"Don't you wanna pick up your parents and then go out with me?" I asked him trying to get out of his hold.

"Hmm I will take my leave now, get ready till then, see you soon" he said letting me out of the hug firmly.

"Hmm fine go" I said.

"You go in first then I will leave" he said.

And without arguing further I left. I heard the fading sound of car wheels as soon as I entered the house and closed the door.

KARTHIK'S POV



She hugged me, she really did and I am now the happiest person alive I must say I am happy as hell. I mean she is finally opening up to me.

Yeah I will win your heart my lady luck.

I left her place once she headed inside and closed her door behind her. I also appointed guards around her house in casual cloths so that she doesn't feel uncomfortable. Right now I am here to pick up my

parents as they were about to reach in the afternoon but due to some weather conditions the flight was delayed.

I met and then I informed my father that they can leave for home and I will go and see Pihu. My father was very happy and he also warned me not to scare her. I pity him for not knowing that I am the one at certain times who is scared of her.

I went to my Penthouse which was near to my office and Pihu's house as well. I changed into the same dress code that I decided for tonight and yes we will be twining. I didn't like these stuffs personally but she useto mention that she will always twin with her partner. And he wish is my demand.

I am trying my level best to make her believe in her happy present and forget her haunting past and for that I doing everything she shared with me that she wanted

her partner to do for her.

I got ready and left my penthouse. On my way Ipurchased her favourite orchids bouquet. And then left for her house
