KARTHIK’S POV

Its been 6 hours since I talked to my little tigeress right

now I am just siting in my cabin going through the last

page of the file I have been reading since past two

hours. I already asked my manger to prepare for

tonight, I want to make it the best date for her.

Yeah I know its not an official date but for me all the

little time spent with her is like a romantic date with

her. I was almost done with the file so I closed the file

and went to rest in the bedroom attached to my office. I

went and literally threw my body on the soft mattress as

I didn’t take proper nap so my entire body was paining

to hell.

PIHU’S POV

I just simply said what I felt like at the moment. Yes the

way he asked me out for dinner made it quite very sure

that he is not into a relationship. I don’t know why but I

was happy that he not taken.

Wait but why am I so happy? I asked my sub-conscious

mind.

Maybe you are as possessive as him. I replied to myself. But why will you be possessive? Again asked my mind.

Aagh! Just let it be what it is I don’t know why I am

happy. I again replied myself.

Right now it was 8 in the night and he texted me that he

will pick me up from my place. I sent him my address

and left to take shower. After a good shower I came

wearing my bathrobe. I went through my collection and

found a red bodycon dress with thin straps. I found it

sexy so I decided to make it the outfit of tonight.

I got dressed and texted him that I am ready to which he

replied that he is downstairs already. I rushed

downstairs. Why did he not tell me that he is here? I

asked myself. Shrugging all my thoughts and wearing

my heels I headed outside my apartment.

KARTHIK’S POV

When I woke up from my nap session it was 6 in the

evening. We decided to meet by 9 but I wanted to pick

her up so I decided to come home and get ready. So

right now I am getting ready after taking my shower. I

wore a black high neck sweatshirt as it was a little cold

outside. I paired them with black formal pants and a

blazer and I was good to go.

I left from my house by 8 as the address she sent me is

just half an hour far from my house. I stopped on my

way to buy a bouquet for her. I reached her house at

half past eight I check my phone if she sent me any message but sadly there were none. So I decided to wait

instead of rushing her. I know I don’t like to wait but its

okay I am doing it for my sunshine right? So I am okay

with it.

After like fifteen minutes I received a text from her that

she was ready to which I responded saying I am already

downstairs. I just sent her the text and kept my phone in

my pocket when I heard tic sounds od heels and there

she came with all her glory. The moonlight falling on

her face making it even more beautiful.

She wore a red dress barely reaching her knees giving a

perfect view of her toned long legs, her dress had thin

straps providing a perfect view of her bare shoulder.

Her dress had a deep neck that showed her cleavage.

She tied her hair into a ponytail that suited her look but

I was not liking it at the moment.

I didn’t realized when she came and stood near me until

she waved her hands in front on my face and said

“I know I am pretty stop staring at me” she said

smirking.

I don’t know what came into me that my hands went

and opened her ponytail that she gave a messy look.

“Now you look even more pretty” I said putting her hairtie on my wrist.

She seemed to be a little nervous after that when her

smile fade away.

“Hey you look pretty like this I am sorry please don’t

mind me” I said holding her shoulder as she hung her

head low.

“Its okay Karthik I am fine” this time she said smiling.

“By the way I got something for you” I said turning to

pick up the bouquet I brought for her and I gave it to

her.

“Orchids? Who told you I like them?” she said and her

eyes shined this time when she smiled looking at the

flower.

“Well you never mentioned about your favourite flower

but today I noticed during our meeting that there were

orchids in all the vases in your office cabin so I just

guessed it” I said shoving my hands in my pocket.

“You guessed it right” she said smiling and then she

leaned to look behind me.

“We are going on this?” she asked looking at me and

then looking at the bike.

“Well someone mentioned the fantasy of having late

night bike ride so that is why” I said bending my face to

her level.

“But that was for my partner” she said moving forward towards my face.

“I won’t mind being one” I said looking directly into

her eyes.

There was an awkward silence for a moment we kept on

staring into each others eyes it felt like we are trying to

pour all our expressions through our eyes. Her eyes held

a emotion an emotion an emotion I could read clearly, it

was like she is asking for love, care, support and

someone by her side. She cleared her throat breaking

the awkward silence.

“Let’s leave then, we will get late” she said standing

straight.

“Yeah let’s go then” I said and then I helped her wear

the helmet. Well it’s a sports bike so that is why safety

first also her hair will be mess due to the wind. I sat on

the bike first and gave her my blazer so that she can sit

comfortably as her dress was short but manageable.

After she sat I wore my helmet.

“Wear the blazer” I said looking at her from the rear

view mirror.

“Won’t you wear it?” she asked me looking at me from

the same mirror.

“Just wear it sweetheart its already cold the wind

blowing on the bike won’t help it you will catch cold, as

per for me I am wearing my high neck” I said .

She wore it without any single further word. Then we

drove towards the restaurant. She kept her hands on my

shoulder to maintain proper balance that’s what made

me feel like I took the right decision taking the bike

instead of car. We reached the location and I parked the

bike then we headed inside.

“Why there are no people here is it only us?” she asked

looking at me. I didn’t said anything as I knew what

was coming next. I rubbed my hands back my neck

thinking what should I do now.

“Yeah actually there is no one.” I said looking her and

there except her, deciding to play along with her.

“Learn to lie properly, why did you do that wasn’t a

table reservation enough?” she said holding my ears.

“Aah! Its hurting Pihu” I said grinning in pain.

“It should” she said twisting my ears more.

“Accha okay I am sorry it won’t happen again” I said

holding my other ear.

“There is no other chance after this that I am joining

you out” she said and left my ears. She headed inside

and moved towards the lift.

“Pihu don’t say like this please, you will really not

come with me?” I said trolling behind her with her

purse in my hand.

“Which floor?” she asked without looking at me even.

“16th floor” I replied.

She pressed the button and the lift arrived in no time

and she got inn, still I kept on saying sorry following

behind her.

“Hey your silence hurts me to hell don’t do this Pihu

atleast talk to me slap me, beat me, fight with me but

don’t stay quite please” I said looking at her while she

just kept on looking at the lift’s floor screen.

I moved forward and stopped the lift on the 6th floor. I

held her by her waist and tugged her to the nearest lift

wall. We were close but there I made proper distance so

that she is not uncomfortable.

“I was saying something right?” I asked her.

“Really I didn’t hear you” she said looking to the other

side.

“Pihu this is now jabbing my heart please” I said

looking towards her. She immediately turned her face

towards me.

“I told you not to ignore me it hurts me I don’t know

why but it does. So please next time in the future beat

me, slap me, fight with me but dare not to ignore me

please” I said looking directly into her eyes.

“I am sorry it won’t happen again pakka promise” I said again.

She just kept on staring at me and slowly her gaze

shifted towards my lips she started to bend closer to me.

But I didn’t move an inch. Soon we were very close, so

close that our breathe were fanning each other. But she

backed off, she backed off from my hold and stood

straight.

Why do I feel like something is bothering her everytime

I get close to her or she tries to come close to me she

backs off. Is something bothering her? But what? The

sudden change in her behaviour whenever we are close

signifies that when I opened her hair, when we were

leaning towards each other and then now again. Its

weired.

“I am sorry once again” I said and again pressed the

lifts button.

“ I am sorry as well” she said after a while of silence.

“Its okay but can you promise me something?” I asked

again turning towards her.

“You will never ignore me, neither you will try to stay

away from me and like years back you will again share

things with me if they bother you.” I said looking at her.

She looked towards me for a while and then spoke.

“Hmm I promise” she said smiling.

I smiled like a kid got his snatched candy back. But this

candy of mine I will never let anyone snatch it even if they return it back to me this candy belongs to me only

me.

Soon we reached at the floor we had our food actually

they were all Indian food that she loved the most and

she ate everything like she was craving for them since

long. We talked for an hour or two discussing about our

lives likes and dislikes etc. she also mentioned that she

is single and that is giving me some sort of happiness I

don’t know why.

After our dinner we discussed our business works for

which we actually met. Then again after signing the

deal and officially being business partners we left the

restaurant.

Right now we were on the roads of Mumbai when she

shouted “STOP!!!!!”

“What happened? You are okay?” I asked as soon as I

stopped the bike with a jerk.

“Yeah I am good, see there is Candy Floss buy me one,

no two, no three, no….” I was saying something but I

interupped.

“Seriously Miss Panda you shouted like this just for

those?” I said looking at her in disbelief. I didn’t even

know when she got down from the bike and rushed

towards the salesperson removing her helmet.

I sighed and got down of my bike and moved towards

her direction. “Uncle give me three of them no four but

its small no no no give me five of them but…” she was

saying something again I interrupted her.

“Uncle give all of them” I said looking at the salesman.

“Shukriya! Beta Bhagwan tum dono ko humesa khush

rakhe aaj subah se bohne nhii hue aur abb tum sare

khareed rhe ho. Beta bahut payar karta hai tumse

humesa saath rehna iske” said the salesperson he was

quite old. He said the last line to Pihu to which she

blushed hard her face was crimson red but I loved his

remark.

(Thankyou kids may god always keep you both happy, I

got no customer since morning but now you are buying

them all. Child he loves you a lot never leave his side)

“Haanji chacha baat toh shii hai” I said holding her my

her shoulder.

(Yes uncle you are right)

“What?” she said shouting at me.

“Yeah its true I love you.” I said looking at her.

“Come again” she said blinking his eyes multiple times.

“Come on Pihu I love you who will not love their best

friend” I said seeing her blushing and shocked. To be

honest she was looking cute with that little expression on her cute face.

“Ohh that way” she said and the blush on her face was

now gone.

“Were you expecting it other way?” I asked looking at

her with a smirk on my face.

“Get! Lost you fool” she said removing my hand.

“Here your Candy Floss” said that uncle.

She took all of them smiling. She started eating before I

could even take out my wallet. My god she is so cute,

she will be the death of me someday. I took a four five

hundred note from my wallet and gave it to him.

“Beta this is too much” she said looking at the amount.

“Its okay uncle take it as a gift from our side” I told

him.

First he was not ready but then on both mine and Pihu’s

insistence he took it. He said that he keeps his cart there

itself everyday and he told us that next time when we

come here he won’t take money from us.

We left from there and then I dropped her at her place.

She was tripping on her steps there as well and now

here also.

“Here take it” I said giving her a pain reliever.

“What? How?” she asked with a questioning look on her face.

“I noticed it in the restaurant and when you rushed for

you candy floss, you ankle hurts right apply it but

before that massage your ankle a little wit hot oil.” I

said looking at her to which she smiled.

“Thankyou” she said.

“No need” I said smiling back.

“You can leave now I will take care of it. Its getting

late.” She said taking the antiseptic from my hand.

I so much wanted to stay and take care of her leg but

this was the first time we met so I didn’t wanted to

make her feel uncomfortable.

“You go in first” I said gesturing her to go. She nodded

and said “Bye then Good Night”.

“Bye, Good Night, see you tomorrow” I said.

She turned and started moving. She unlocked her door

and looked back at me. I smiled so did she but then she

shouted “Thankyou for making it special for me today”.

I smiled seeing her. I was happy that finally she was

getting back to herself. The girl I knew, my Pihu, my

sunshine, my Panda I am happy that finally you are

opening up to me. She entered in her apartment after

waving at me and so did I. Then I left for my house.
