KARTHIK’S POV

When she asked for my no. I was literally out of my

senses I mean I was about to do that once we reach the

runway, still I decided to tease her but when she said

that my girlfriend may get angry I was literally angry at

that moment. I mean how can she even think like that I

belong to her.

After I gave her my no. I was continuously thinking that

what if she has a boyfriend, what if I already lost her,

what if she had found someone better. I looked in her

direction several times but she only looked out this was

not helping me a bit I wanted to break the silence but

she was not even sparing a look at me.

Battling with my thoughts we finally reached the

runway, I got down and helped he get down. She didn’t

speak anything since then. I got her luggage out and

decided to talk myself but then she herself thanked me

and started to leave. My god I can’t describe in words

how happy I was. I bid her bye and I don’t know why

but I was still looking in her direction.

I saw her fading figure I don’t know for how long but

then I decided to leave when they were ready to take

off. I sat in her car itself and drove off to the hotel.

PIHU’S POV

“Good morning ma’am” I could hear this until I reached

the lift all my staffs wished me morning to which I

responded with nods. Yes right now I am in my office. I

landed in Mumbai by two in the morning and then

texted my parents and Karthik that I reached as they

asked me too. I took rest at my penthouse and now

again here I am in my office. I was informed that I have

a meeting at nine with the investors so that is why here I

am. We had one hour for the meeting to start so I

decided to check on the preparations.

“Good Morning ma’am” said my PA as I entered in my

cabin.

“Good Morning, get me the documents for today’s

meeting” I said taking my seat.

“Yes mam here it is” she said handing me the

documents.

I took the documents and stared to check on it there was

a slight pain in my neck I don’t know why so I slightly

started rubbing it.

“Are you okay ma’am?” she asked being concerned.

“Yeah! I am all good there is just a little pain in my

neck it will be fine don’t worry.” I replied to her closing

the file and handing it to her.

“Documents are okay, did you send them the sample of

our products?” I asked her sipping my lemonade.

“Yes mam they received it as well but the CEO was out

due to some reason they said that it will be finally

discussed in the meeting itself.” she said.

“Okay our task is done now its their business,

everything is good until they have a relevant reason to

it” I said opening my laptop.

“Okay mam” she said.

“Is it a video conference or a meeting?” I asked her.

“It will be video conference ma’am, I knew you just

travelled so I made an appointment for video

conference and they agreed as well” she responded.

“Okay then take care of the other things I will handle

this myself. You may leave now.” I said.

“Okay ma’am” she replied and left the cabin.

I started replying all my mails and within 45 minutes I

was done replying them. I received a mail from my PA

that had the meeting link. I went inside the bedroom

attached to my cabin that is literally known by no one. I

went inside and checked on my look. I made my look as

professional as possible.

Later I came and it was time for the meeting so I joined

in. The other party didn’t join yet so I was pretty

shocked I mean how can someone be late at meetings.

Are they even serious for the deal? I waited for five

minutes but still they didn’t join I turned to pick up my

telephone to call my PA when I heard.

“Hii! , Hello, I am sorry there was network issue this

side” I heared a familiar voice.

I turned back to see if my doubt was true. And guess

what it was Karthik for real we looked at each other for

a while and then we both almost shouted at the same

time

“YOU?” I said

“YOU?” he exclaimed at the same time.

KARTHIK’S POV

I landed in Mumbai at 7 in the morning and I knew I

was already late. I rushed out from the runway and

asked my driver to drive as fast as possible. There was

traffic on our way so the instead of half an hour we

reached in an hour to my office. I rushed to my cabin

and joined in the meeting room only to see that I am

five minutes late. My PA asked me to check the details

of the company but I refused as I was already late.

I apologized as soon as I entered the video chat room

and the next moment felt like an eternity to me. Its Pihu

seeing her I and her both of us shouted at the same time YOU? Man this is confusing. I saw shock on my PA’s

face so I quickly masked my happiness then I asked him

to pass me the agreement file and leave.

“Is it you for whom I rushed all this way? Like

seriously?” I asked her opening the file as soon as my

PA left.

“Excuse me Mr. Karthik I didn’t knew its you I had my

meeting with and also you need to be professional

please” she said showing her professional attitude.

“Okay so Miss. Pihu the deal is final from our side” I

said closing the file as I was done checking it.

“Karthik you didn’t even discuss anything atleast talk

about the deal” she said.

“Its okay Pihu I believe in your company and for the

deal lets do it 35% for us and 65% for you” I said

clearing my point.

“Karthik are you sure if you are doing it out of

symphthy so please don’t…” she was speaking

something but I interrupted.

“Pihu I believe in you so please don’t doubt yourself

also I checked you company analysis its impressive I

am not doing it to show you symphathy so please don’t

think of it otherwise. You and your team seems to be

active on this so I am sure that we will make it up together.” I said this time clearing the thoughts she had

in her mind.

“If it doesn’t work out so your team will be in great loss

as per the deal you are saying of, think again.” She said.

“Pihu this deal is the need of my company and we

believe in you it won’t be a loss don’t worry.” I said

comforting her.

“Are you sure?” she asked

“Hundred percent” I said smiling a little.

“Okay then let’s finalise the deal” she said.

“Hmm okay how about meeting a restaurant tonight,

come on a dinner with me then we will be signing the

deal there” I said I was nervous asking her out for

dinner but I blurted out what it was.

“Okay no problem” she said with a hesitating face.

“Come on stop thinking so much its okay if you say no

even” I said thinking might be she is uncomfortable.

“No Mr. Karthik I am not hesitating neither I have any

problem its just that ‘The Karthik Singh Rajput’ doesn’t

even knows how to ask a girl out” she said teasing me

but I was happy seeing her smiling.

“Ohh its not like that…” I was about to complete

myself but she interrupted saying “No if and but sir I have business to take care of so

please see you tonight and also I suggest you to see

tutorials how to be with a girl when you are out. See

you soon Byee” she said all at once and ended the

meeting. I am embaressed but now that she challenged

me so I will make it special for sure. Just wait at watch

sweetheart.
