PIHU’S POV

I was at the venue seeing all the arrangements selecting

the theme based decors etc it was already 6 in the

evening when I got a call from Ansh I picked it up then

he said “Di I am ready and I left the house right now,

you can leave from there now, I will be arriving there

soon. Let me see the rest of the things” he said. “Okay

then I will leave and go get ready.” I replied to him

taking all my stuffs. “Hmm fine drive safe, leave me a

text when you reach home” he said. “Okay boss” I

replied playfully while sitting in the backseat of my car.

Soon my driver drove off.

I reached home within half and hour and I went to take

quick shower and get ready. Within an hour I was ready

and so was everyone so we decided to leave. It was 7

when suddenly my phone pinged a message taking all

my attention. Right now I was in a car with all my

cousins when I opened the message shiver ran down my

spine “Remember me Darling” said the text. “No he

can’t be here, No Pihu he can’t be here stay strong you

are just panicking he must be some crazy fan” I

muttered to myself calming myself but fear was clear in

my eyes. I tried to hold myself from breaking down as I

couldn’t break down in front of my cousins. I was fighting for my breathe that became normal after a lot

of struggle. All after that I was looking out of the

window to stop my tears from rolling down.

After an hour we reached our venue we headed inside.

Guests were not arriving yet as they are supposed to

come from 8:30 pm so that the party can be hosted by

9:00 pm. Still there was time so I went to a room on the

other floor as I needed some space. Also no one asked

me questions for leaving to the room because today I

will officially be introduced as Singh’s daughter

because we didn’t make a proper all together public

appearance uptill now as I didn’t visit them from years

back so the world still doesn’t know that I am a

daughter of this family. As I will be introduced later on

so I was supposed to enter when the party will be

hosted.

KARTHIK’S POV

After the puja was done we were all ready to leave. I

didn’t let anyone join me again as there were so many

bouquets and if anyone sees them they will surely die

out of shock seeing Karthik Singh Rajput carry flower

in his car.

We all reached the hotel and decided to take rest for an

hour and then leave for the party after getting ready.

After our nap session we all got ready. My brothers wore black in order to impress Pihu. While I just wore a

black tuxedo paired with black formal pants and a white

shirt underneath. I too wore black but not to impress her

‘You’re sure?’ asked my sub-conscious brain. ‘Probably

no because I wanted to impress her’ I thought in my

mind and smiled internally.

Again I drove all alone because of the same flowers

reason and with half and hour we reached the venue.

We went inside and met all the Singh’s but I was

searching for one in particular who are not there in the

hall for sure because I scanned each and every corner of

the hall. There was still time in the party to began so I

decided to have a drink and I went near the bar. There

came a waitress with a seducing look on her face and

gave me a pissing smile which I definitely ignored.

When all her dirty attempts failed to work on me so she

passed by me intensively close dropping a drink directly

form her tray on my costume and said “I am sorry sir,

you need to clean this come I will show you the way

towards the vacant rooms.” I clenched my jaw seeing

her acting all innocent when she did it on purpose but I

need to clean this or else it will leave a stain. So I

followed her towards the vacant rooms. She open the

door for me and before entering inn I said “Run from

here before I break this makeup full face of yours” I

said it sternly that would have definitely made her spine

shiver because she ran from there in a blink of an eye. Its not that I raise hands on women indeed I respect

them as my mother raised me well but right now

scolding her was required.

Sighing I entered the room and cleaned the drink on my

shirt thankfully it didn’t leave any stain. I checked the

time there was still time in the party to begin so in order

to take some fresh air I went in the balcony. As soon as

I entered there a strong smell of cigarette smoke hit my

nostrils. I turned towards the source of the smoke only

to see a girl smoking like a professional smoker yes

because she didn’t even cough or got breathless which

indicated that she takes it more often. Her back was

facing me but a sudden curiosity of seeing her face rose

in me and I bent a little from my balcony. Still I

couldn’t see her face but now she was taking on call.

Within seconds she ended the call and dumped the the

cigarette and went inside but I couldn’t see her face

again. I sighed and went back in the party hall.

PIHU’S POV

As soon as I entered the room I locked it and went in

the washroom and washed my face took a cigarette

from my bag and went to the balcony and lighted it with

my lighter. I was taking it inn and out its been 15

minutes since I am smoking and now the area around

me smelled like cigarette. I don’t often smoke but sometimes I need it to reduce my anxiety either from

my work load or by the haunting thoughts of my

thoughts. I am a strong women and enough to fight for

myself but my helpless past scares me to death.

My thoughts got broken by the ring on my cell it was

Ansh I picked it up when he said “Di be ready you will

have to enter within 15 minutes, Okay” he told me.

“Hmm fine” I replied and ended the call and went to do

make my self presentable. I was done with my last

minutes touch up so now I went out of the room and

stood behind a large pillar to see what going on in the

hall the host was introducing my family members.

There were so many business heads and politicians in

the hall. The hall was filled the click sounds on the

camera as there were so many media reporters.

Soon the host announced “So now the new face of the

family and also the hidden granddaughter of our

Birthday boy will be officially introduced. So Ladies

and Gentleman please welcome the second daughter of

Singh Family MISS PIHU SINGH.” As soon as he

announced all the lights got off with a spotlight on the

stairs or should I say on me. Yes it was on me as it was

moving with my steps ahead. I could see shocked faces

as they never knew that I could be the daughter of my

family as I never mentioned about my family. I reached the last stair when my brother came and

offered me his hand and helped me with my huge gown

to the stage. After a while after posing for too many

family picture and hosting the party we all got off the

stage.

KARTHIK’S POV

I came to the hall and after some time the host

announced for the Singh’s entry all the family members

were introduced except my ‘sunshine’ as she never

officially introduced herself as the daughter of this

family. But later the host announced her name and her

entry when all the spotlight went towards her. She

entered the hall with spreading her glory all around in

the hall. I was seeing her after so long she was no more

cubby and a little girl like she was earlier, now she was

a complete women slim and hot. Her gown was hugging

her so beautifully that she looked extremelly hot. Soon

she was taken to the stage by her brother. I could see

mans in the hall gawking at her like she is some meal

they want to have. I wanted to remove there eyeballs

from their socket and hand them outside her room but I

controlled my anger.

Later they posed for family pictures and then the party

was hosted and they all got off from the stage. My

cousins jumped near her but still she smiled they are so annoying. After sometime when I was done with my

staring session at her I sent a waiter with a note to her

not before asking her to give the note secretly without

telling the sender.

PIHU’S POV

I got down the stage when the Rajput cousins came near

me and praised me “Oh my god di you are looking

seducing hot” said Ishana. “Yaa di, I am sure the boys

here would be fainted by your beauty” exclaimed

Siddhi. “I have only one heart how many time will you

win it” exaggerated Rehan in a flirty way. We were

taking, laughing and teasing each other, I got very

comfortable with them they are very sweet and friendly.

After a while when I moved to a corner to fix my dress

there came a waiter and handed me a note and went

from there without saying anything. I opened the note

and it read “ Sabse Milna-Milana ho gyaa ho toh

humse se bhii mil lejiye. Waiting for you in the

parking ‘sunshine’.”

(Translation- If you are done meeting everyone so do

me a favour by meeting me as well. Waiting for you in

the parking ‘sunshine’ )

It was from Karthik I am sure because he used to call

me sunshine, ‘his sunshine’. A smile crept on my face

and I went outside the hall towards the parking. As soon as I entered the parking I saw a car’s headlight

was on and I went towards the car it was my car with

bouquets around it. There were so many bouquets on

my car so many that my car bounat was covered with

flowers. “It is so Beautiful” I exclaimed happily. “Not

more than you” I heard a voice behind me. The voice

seemed familiar so I instantly turned around. There he

stood with all his glory. He changed a lot now he was

more handsome than he was in his schoolings. I saw

those familiar pair of eyes and my eyes welled up I am

seeing him after so long. I ran in his direction as he was

standing at a distance. I quickly wrapped both my hands

around his neck letting my tears roll down. He held me

tight reciprocating to the hug I hugged him more tight

when is chuckled and said “I am not running from here

don’t worry just relax”. I loosened my grip a little and

said “Where were you? You know how much I missed a

fool like you”. I said pouring all the pain in my heart

and sobbing hard in front of him. He was my comfort

place and he will always be my best friend.
