He owns his well established company called "RK ENTERPRISES". He is a very capable bachelor of India. He has girls around him but he care less. He had a self established investments company who needed a good company to invest in and that's when he meet the person who made him fall for her.

(Note- Karthik's business RK Enterprises is family inherited. He was born with silver spoon. And when he was about to be CEO of his family business at a young age people accused him that he wasn't capable and had no experience so in order to prove him he established a investment company at the age of 29 all by himself and then took the position of CEO in his family business.

And case of pihu is completely opposite she had no business background she did all by herself as she was from middle class political family background.)
